Oak Cabinet

My old friend Suzie wanted a cabinet to keep an aquarium, so I knew it had to be strong. I happen to have plenty of oak hanging around right now, so let's get to gluing some panels and get those fish happy!

Those are the panels in clamps on the bottom right

Panels are looking right!

Base is assembled

Went with a plywood back

The doors actually fit!

Finished with a brush on poly

This cabinet turned out great. I measured up for the top based on the size of the aquarium, then worked down for the base. Had to measure and glue panels to get the width & height established, then glued up a bottom and shelf. Rabbetted in a plywood back after assembly, then built some doors as rail, stile, & panel.
